VEM4 Installer

Notes:
  • Ensure the user credentials you use are valid - you will not be able to install VEM unless you they are.
  • Ensure you have setup an external DNS entry for the VEM Monitor site which is resolvable through your firewall to the CRM Server.
  • The installer will setup a local IIS VEM Monitor site unless you deselect this feature - after installing you can relocate the site to DMZ provided you have CRM webservices connectivity.
  • The latest release sets up a 'Keep Alive' windows service and allows you to relocate the monitoring site to DMZ - for these features you need to input credentials password.
  • VEM may be used in multi-server configurations including NLB, you will typically need to install on servers hosting the CRM Application Role.
  • VEM works on multiple tenants but licenses are keyed to each organization. Simply re-run the installer to add/remove organizations and to add license keys.
  • The installer zip contains VEM Email Router Handler files to be copied to the Service folder for configuration of this feature.
  • The VEM 'web2lead' feature operates only on the first-installed organization as the installer uses these parameters for the monitoring site configuration.
